This Privacy Policy explains how Opilote ("we", "us") collects, uses, and protects data when you use our fleet-management platform, including data about vehicles, drivers, and GPS positions transmitted by connected trackers.

What we collect

Account and company information you provide (name, email, company details); vehicle and site data you enter; GPS position, speed, and sensor data streamed from connected Teltonika devices; dashcam footage from devices with a connected dashcam module; and usage data about how you interact with the platform.

How we use it

• To provide live tracking, geofencing, alerts, and reporting features.
• To secure your account and scope data access by role and company.
• To improve the reliability and performance of the platform.
• To communicate service updates and, where you've opted in, product tips.

Data sharing

We do not sell your data. We share data only with subprocessors necessary to run the service (hosting, storage, and communications providers), each bound by data-protection agreements, or when required by law.

Data retention

Position and alert data is retained for as long as your account is active plus a reasonable period for reporting continuity. Dashcam footage is retained for a limited window before automatic cleanup — contact us for extended retention needs.

Under GDPR and applicable data-protection law, you can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time by contacting us through the Support page.
